First time?

What to know before you flow.

Arrive early.
Doors open for each class 15 mins prior and are promptly locked at the start of class. Come in, shake off your day and get settled for class.

Please leave your shoes at the door and check in with the front desk at arrival.
Bring a mat and a towel.

Three

Stay hydrated.
Like massage, some yoga postures can help hydrate the tissues or release stored toxins. It’s recommended to come hydrated and keep drinking after to restore and replenish your system. Bring your own water or feel free to use our complimentary water station. Bottled water and drinks are available for purchase.

Enjoy a light meal.
Practicing on a full stomach can be a drag, flowing with too little can be dangerous. Enjoy a light meal or snack 30 mins to 4 hours prior to coming to class.

Four

Stay safe.
First, make sure you have appropriate medical clearance from your physician before starting any new fitness routine or after an injury or illness. Speak with your instructor about any injuries or limitations prior to class. Respect your body where it is today and never push through pain. We encourage the use of props to help modify, deepen, expand and explore your practice.

Five

Stay comfortable.
Wear comfortable clothes that are appropriate for heated settings. Avoid cottons and opt for a more sweat friendly synthetic material.

Six

Don’t give up.
Yoga is like a running shoe, hear us out. You can have many top of the line options but only a few might fit you. It’s normal to feel uncomfortable during your first class. It may take a few weeks to get used to the poses, space, or find a practice that suits you the best. Browse the schedule, come with an open mind, and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Yoga styles and instructors can vary widely but we truly feel yoga is for every BODY.
