Leslie aims to authentically share the transformative potential of yoga to her students through a relatable approach of teaching. Influenced by many of her teachers & students, she is passionate about moving in a way that is informed, sustainable, and FUN. You will find that she infuses all of her teachings with an impassioned knowledge of functional movement, and an overall zest for playful vinyasa adventures.
Leslie completed her first 200-hour training in 2015 with Cindy Lunsford. Cindy brought Yoga to the area & created a strong community in which was more valuable than the physical practice itself. Combined with ambition and endless curiosity, Leslie continues to learn, diving deeper into functional movements & the psychology of Yoga. She is a full time ARM QIDP, supporting individuals with diverse abilities and intertwining both passions, as yoga can be a form of rehabilitation for survivors of brain injury & therapeutic for those with Autism. You may find her teachings are presented in a visual & structured way to better serve everybody.
When Leslie is not at the studio or supporting those in her care, shes spending time with her dogs going for hikes, & sledding with her nephews.
